I LOVE hippies and seriously know that I should have been one!! Very natural, earthy, pot smokin peeps, but I don't know about not taking a shower! Thats gross! I love hippy clothes, hippy smells (nag champa)

I personally like hippies.They are cool people and they get to smoke al that marihuana LOL xDDD And they have a nice sense of style LOL i would wear hippie clothes LOL (^_^) PEACE!!

I approve of the hippies 100%,considering I live in West Virginia and we are crawling with the Rainbow People!! Plus,I sort of am a hippie,minus the washing my hair in the veggie cleaner,and the pot and acid binges. I'm a peace and love kind of girl.

I am an old hippy..so I am biased I guess..People don't know about them unless they lived it..not all protested the Nam war,or burned flags etc..then again we werent all burnt out on drugs or dirty either..To me it meant dressing a certain way,enjoying life day to day,good rock music,being free to be me..=)I have changed over the years but still have some of that hippy in me in certain situations..=)

Ok, I live in San Francisco.......the world CAPITAL of Hippies...I've met MANY MANY of them.....and I guess I'm kind of one too.....except i dont do pot, anyways the whole "not taking a shower" thing is a HORRIBLE stereotype! And you dont have 2 do pot to be a hippie, just want peace.....

I don't have a problem with hippies but their movement was never really effective. Some hippie chicks can be cute just as long as they take care of their hygene and are somewhat in touch with reality. Well.....Hendrix kicks ***.

Hippys are cool as long as you dont have any in your walls or attic. Also, beware of drum circles forming in your town. It could spread into a hippy jam festival....a real mess!!

I don't really care for hippies...they don't bathe on a regular basis, tend to always be looking for a handout, deprive their children of a good education, and tend to be too self-indulgent in their own wants instead of paying attention to the world around them.

Ahhh yes! I remember, peace, love and rock n roll! and the drugs, the lovely drugs. Paisley prints! Bell bottoms! Tie dye! No bra! Now the thing about no bathing, I don't remember that. I remember washing my hair with an apple shampoo and it smelling incredible and we put patchouli oil on our bodies. Imagine!
