I've noticed that this tends to be the European view, I like to think of myself as a realist so I don't think it will have a lasting effect as these Islamic fascists want the complete destruction of Western Civilization, what do you think?

State your nationality if you would be so kind.

From the US...I think that these are merely two actors in a larger conflict. While a solution could permeate other headed situations...the only chance for peace in the Middle East is religious and social tolerance..and do you see that happening any time soon? I can't say I do.

p.s. did you see yesterday's announcement (by video of course, props to our troops for that) by bin Ladens #2 man? He pledged violence on Israel and all of their allies, which includes Western states like the US....no, I don't think it will be over until something major happens, unfortunately.

It would only give the fascist something else to focus on - and that would probably be the US and they'd claim we are stealing their oil. This is in some of Osama's rhetoric now claiming the US should pay $200 a barrell to properly compensate the people of his region - well thats a great recruiting tool in his region to people who don't know better.

I'm not sure what "solution" you are referring to, but Israel was forced to give the PLO the West Bank and Gaza in return for peace. Israel gave them the land, but did not get peace. They will never have peace with PLO, Hamas or Hezbollah- those are all terrorist groups. Israel is now fighting the world's war- against terrorists who's first goal is to destroy Israel and all Jews and who's second goal is to destroy all Christians and Westerners.

Peace will never be achieved in the Middle-East. Yet the power of terrorists must be eliminated and states that support them must fall.

Of course not. That will be where the last World War will begin. Personally, I think we should move all the Israeli's to Canada so they can let the Muslims have that whole region and let it be destroyed.

To have peace, you must want peace. When you have been at war for 100's of years, you do not want peace.
