Michael what would you have them do? if they dont "invade" then terrorist attacks are just going to keep coming. So are you saying their best option is to sit their and not protect their citizens?

You are so right.
Israel tried in every way possbile to live peacefully with their neighbors but nothing satisfied them. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and the only ally the US has in the region. They are surrounded on all sides by terrorists.
Israel gave up large tracts of land and bulldozed their own settlements to give the Palestinians their own country. However, this did not satisfy the terrorists. Time and time again they have sent suicide bombers and missiles to kill innocent civilians. Israel even built a wall to try to keep terrorists out, but the raids kept coming and they were on constant terror alert. Now Hamas and Hezbollah, two of the terrorists groups, have kidnapped Isaeli soldiers. They have taken over the government of Lebanon. Israel has had enough. They are now doing what the US should be doing - destroying the headquarters of the terrorists. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9-11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries

They are being fired at and their soldiers are being kidnapped because they have occupied other people lands ( The West bank,Gaza strip , shabaa farms and the Golan heights) and terrorized other people .To free its lands ( Sinai) from Israel occupation ,Egypt also had to fight Israel in 1973.The right of resistance is a sacred right.

I think Israel is doing the right thing...destroying the Hizzbolla and the Hamas.Hizbolla is suffering greatly with very high casulties. Of NOW the dumb Arab nations are calling for a cease fire...of course, now that the Muslim Kooks are losing their ***!
hopefully Israel won't stop till they have finished the job!
If it were me, I would begin by nuking Iran!

nothing is cool about the whole afare..lets put it this way
part of my house taken from me and given to you by some one
who is much stronger then me ..you partition my house and you make your own apartment..can i accept that no ..after a wile you
take bit more of my house and wont give it back can i say it's cool no..my house being Palestine ..and what was given to you Israel ..and later Gaza Golan heights + more
I am not anti anything ..but can you see the problem
it's a shame Innocent people on both sides are getting killed

What would you think if you punch me and then I punch you back , plus I set your house on fire, and later you neighbors and so on?
Its all wrong. actions at most should be equal, but even then it doesn`t make them right. that doesn´t mean that I support kidnapping or rocketing a foreign country at all.

Hezbollah launched rockets in Israel after they have been attacked by the Israelis...So it was self defense...As for the soldiers ,they were in Lebanon when they were kidnapped.So Hezbollah didn't go to Israel...So Israel had no right to attack Lebanon...

Israel so far is doing the right thing, although I condemn their indiscriminate tactics--too many civilians died.
They should be more careful. However, it is also sorrowful that the Lebanese government and its armed forces are so weak.
