Are there any aspiring animators out there? I am trying to go to college for animation and would like to make some friends either in the field, or that is already in school, or even just want to become an animator. Please respond.

To bad you can't get in touch with Charles Schultz family and in fact I wish Charles Schultz was alive because he never when to art school in person he took all of his courses by correspondence. He was so shy he didn't have the nerve to go to act school. The best thing to do is try and make friends at the school you are at network and see what happens and work hard if you have the talent it would show though in your work.
