A Mac doesn't contain virusus. At least, no Mac virus has been found in the wild.
So, if you want working secure, go for a Mac. If you want many many games, a PC (with Windows) might be a better choice. In that case, embrace for many security problems.
If you want both: currently, the newest Apple OS supports Intel too. Might be hard to setup, though, not really common yet. You'll probably need some kind of whizkid to do the job.
Generally, Mac software uses less resources (CPU speed, harddisk space).
PC = Personal Computer (Intel or AMD CPU. Used for Windows, Linux)
Mac = Apple Macintosh (used for OSX)

Well a PC is what normal human beings use but a MAX (the proper name for an Apple McIntosh) is what superior beings descended from the Archangel Gabriel use, controlling all the functions with brain waves and talking Photoshopese. They also pluralize "viruses" as "viri" and never begin a sentence without a smug intake of breath.

More softwares are released for PC's than for MACS
PC's are a lot cheaper to buy or to build.
PC's parts can be purchased almost anywhere and there's a lot of manufacturers while MACS are proprietory.
MACS are hardware driven while PC's are software driven
MACS are better in graphic rendering.
MACS are less vulnerable to spywares and viruses
