Dear Mr. Gore... I MEAN BUSH!,
I appreciate the gravity of the office you now hold and the trying times that you have had to deal with in office, but I have a few thoughts and questions.
Why are we not pushing the U.N. to address the states that sponsor terrrorism, i.e. Syria & Iran. The governments of Jordan & Egypt have found ways to accept the existence of Israel, shouldn't we be pressuring those that have not.
The losses in Iraq have been worse since "major conflict has ended" and sectarian violence is the rule. Why are we still in the lead on this? Shouldn't we be inviting the other arab nations (such as the aforementioned Egypt & Jordan) to help transition the Iraqi people to independence?
Oil companies have posted record profits and blamed rising prices on everything from Katrina to the Israeli action in Lebanon. do you think there should be an investigation? How can this not be collusion?
I hope that in the future, our world becomes a safer place and that at some point, the U.S. will again be considered a great world leader.
I also hope that through all of this strife, your presidency will in the end become a legacy of leadership through trying times, though personally I'm not sure.
May history be kind to you,
RAD

basically a component concept here. The Obama administration is going to maintain pushing and pushing in an attempt to make us react. We shouldn't. that's precisely what they choose. For the final 2 years Glenn Beck has been preaching that the 1st component to circulate violent, loses, on account that component will lose credibility with the yank public. In such an environment I advise we bear in mind the lesson taught via Martin Luther King Jr. Non-violence. Take the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and exhibit that we are dignified people who will stand up to Tyranny via lawful ability.

Yes the officials at the white house read letters and consider their merit - My wife got a response back to an idea and it seemed to pan out later.
The white house has their hands tied when it comes to congress and senate - they are the ones you should be talking to anyway. And we still keep voting in the bobble head howdy doody's

I would LOVE to ask President Bush why he sends troops all over the world to assist other countries with issues when 10 miles from the White House in PG country it is a drug ridden war zone? Why not fix our issues "inhouse" before offering issues to others. Not that I mind helping those in need but we first need to help ourselves!

There is nothing courteous or congenial I would say to this white house. (You notice I do not capitalize 'white house'.)

Return to integrity. Remember why you started, and stick with it.
I think we've spent too much time trying to do the least contested thing, trying to find middle ground in hard situations. And bowing too much to our public in situations where their view point isn't necessarily the most correct, only the loudest and most vile.
Its time to do what right, and stand up.
