When so many nations are on the sideline watching the war against terrorism, America with our friends stand proudly for true Liberty and Justice.

God bless the USA.

Yes, proud American

Right now, I'm not all that proud. We have a fool for a leader and he's sold the country out to Big Oil and the Conservative Right. He's done nothing - really - in the fight against terrorism choosing to concentrate instead on his own little vendetta in Iraq. In the meantime, he's created several thousand widows, God knows how many kids will never know their father thanks to him, and has caused the death of countless civilians in a war that never should have been started since it had nothing to do with terrorism - just his father's hatred of Saddam Hussein.

This fool has got the nation teetering on the edge of bankruptcy thanks to his inept fiscal policies - tax breaks for the rich, but none for the middle class. He's the laughingstock of the world due to his inability to speak properly, not to mention all the social gaffes he makes (back rub for the German leader for example).

Nothing has been done to help in the field of education unless you call increasing the amount of standardized testing which is done....and all that does is prepare kids to take a test - it doesn't really show they've learned anything. In short, the bozo in the White House is a functional illiterate with an IQ of less than 90 and he's trying to drag everyone down to his level.

The bozo vetoed a bill on stem cell research which could have saved countless lives and made the quality of life much better for those with debilitating diseases. His rationale? They're living beings. Yet, those stem cells are going to be destroyed if not used in research, so why doesn't the fool call for those who have the stem cells to be prosecuted for murder if they're life? Because he's a misinformed moron, that's why.

Ideally, this is not the time to be proud to wave the red, white and blue. The time to do that will be in November when forward-thinking Americans show that they can vote out the conservatives who agree with the Crawford Clown and who back his every move. And hopefully, in 2008 the American people will show the rest of the world that they've had enough of this idiot and his cronies and vote for someone intelligent. Then, we can regain the respect we had in the world before.

if we were actually fighting the war on terrorism, and not creating new terrorists, of course. But between actions in Iraq and our support for Israel's destruction of a democratic nation, not to mention the numerous illegal activities we have partaken in in Gitmo and through renditions, I have no respect for what our government is doing internationally.

Internally it is becoming even worse. Right now civil liberties (you know that "pesky" Bill of Rights) are being removed step by step. Privacy is only important when it is protecting the president, for citizens it doesn't matter and only gets in Bush's way.

Right now I am sad to be an American, and wish that the values America once stood for would be brought back.

Sure. I am a loyal American, a Democrat and a liberal. My family has defended this country in wartime and I support the troops but not the war in Iraq.

I love my country, it's the government leadership I'm worried about. Support our troops!!

"If we go in (to Iraq) unilaterally, or without the
full weight of international organizations behind us,
if we go in with a very sparse number of allies, if we
go in without an effective information operation
...we're liable to supercharge recruiting for al-Qaida"
Gen. Wesley Clark, former NATO Supreme Commander

Of course i'm sure all you wisdomatic geniuses in here know FAR better than a former supreme Commander of NATO-
Because being proud of how much killing were doing makes all so
"SUPER PERFECT" YAY!!!

God doesn't punish, we do it to ourselves
