Just like Nando said, this isn't even a match. even if Goku doesn't use his kamaya meya wave. Ryu dosen't have half the power that Goku has it would be a waste of Goku's time. maybe Trunks could fight Ryu, but even that might be a little to much for Ryu.
Oh yeah Hercule, would be a good match. but as for anyone else Ryu is out matched, out classed and out powered, in every way.

Not only do I agree that Goku would easily defeat Ryu, but I'll go so far as to say Yamcha would be able to wipe the floor with Ryu. Master Roshi might provide a more fair contest, but in the end, I believe even he could defeat Ryu.
