when answering questions on strengths and weaknesses you have to be very careful what you say so you don't come across as being too arrogant or weak so your response really is important. For your strengths, you need to tell them about some of your personal attributes that will contribute to their company, like your strong willed, devoted, organized, etc, just don't brag about yourself. As for weaknesses, I recommend being vague, that way they can't analyze or judge you too much based on them, or better still, take a strength and turn it into a weakness. For example, tell them that you tend to pay close attention to detail or if you are always for new ways to improve yourselves...basically turn a negative into a positive without jeopardizing yourself or your chances of getting the job.
Good luck on your interview...

Well from experience, don't lie or embellish on strengths you can't live up to actively after getting the position. I find that if you say things like "I am a people person." just because it is what they want to hear so you can get the job, if you're not actually that, it will make the job stressfull and you'll hate it in no time. No one usually ever has to recognize it in us, when we lie, we usually do ourselves in with fear and guilt later on.
As far as the weakness goes, don't say anything relating to the job itself. Here, telling little white lies will serve you in that if you blurt out every little personality quirk just to be honest, you'll put the signals out that you are not able to cope or handle the position.
I always say "I love a challenge." for the positive
and "I can make just about any situation work." Because both are true but... I don't tell them "I hate the human race as a whole." Which is also true... but they don't need to know that for the most part, most people are barely tolerated by me unless by social necessity." LOL
For my weakness I usually tell them I am sometimes... (Sometimes... being the key word because it implies you CAN deal if you have to and that it is not an all the time thing.)
I say I am sometimes impatient with myself and sometimes in striving for perfection, I have the occasional tendency to wear myself out. I have to keep on myself with that...
Saying that last bit shows that you have it under control and you are aware of it.
Hope it helps! I can and always do GET the job... When I get it though, I usually quickly find out I didn't really WANT the job.
I am not a people person and I do not play well with others! LOL

Think of the questions this way: What are things you do really well (like organizing or writing) and what are things you could improve (like not talking too fast or communicating clearer). Be honest with yourself and with the interviewer. Try to incorporate the job you are interviewing for with your response. For example, if you are interviewing for an accounting position you could say you are really good with numbers and a quick learner of new processes (strengths) and that you need to be more accepting of new changes. I do interviewing of applicants for a company that provides support services for disabled individuals and honesty in your best and not so good areas are good indicators of what kind of employee you can be. Good luck!

Strength is that you work well with others or by yourself. Self motivated and you feel that you do a great job at anything handed your way.
Weakness is that you have a hard time saying no to people and you can sometimes take to much on but you have never missed a deadline on anything! (always give a positive weakness)

I always say my strengths are that I am able to communicate well with people and to get my ideas across. My weakness is that I tend to never be satisfied with what I've done, but I'm still able to move on.
I've done a ton of interviews lately and now have too many job offers coming in! I took one of them, but am still considering the others. I always ace my interviews.
I accepted Panera Bread, but am considering an Irish pub, University of Mich. & Beaumont Hospital... All in food management.
Honesty is the key. Be honest with yourself and them.
