What I would do, since I am assuming your cell phone isn't under warranty is go to www.ebay.com and buy a cell phone from a reputable seller. You can browse cell phones and sort by service/cell manuf. etc

I have filtered so only verizon compliant phones are shown. Please click here to see what's available:
http://listings.ebay.com/_W0QQsocmdZListingItemList?sofocus=pf&sbrftog=1&catref=C3&socmd=ListingItemList&from=R2&satitle=&sacat=64355%26catref%3DC6&a25664=-24&a25662=25630&a35=-24&a10244=-24&gcs=1440&pfid=1720&reqtype=2&pfmode=1&alist=a25664%2Ca25662%2Ca35%2Ca10244%2Ca3801&pf_query=&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=2%26fsoo%3D2&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=

You can also buy new phones from amazon.com, which has decent prices.
Here are verizon compliant ones:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/002-0242219-3670400/ref=wr_pho_fb/002-0242219-3670400?redirect=true&node=301187&field-vendorcode=Verizon%20Wireless

It may be tough finding a cheap one without signing a new plan.

Your other option is to buy a cell phone from the verizon store, which will undoubtedly be more expensive than ebay.

I hope this helps.

how long have you been with your current carrier? If your initial contract period is up, you can get a new phone through most carriers for the same cost it would be for a new subscriber. I would contact your current carrier. Look on their website to see what phone you are interested in and give them a call. Please note - that if you go with this route you will need to extend your contract.

I always shop from WirelessGalaxy because the prices are too low as compare to other online portals. You may find a good one at cheap rates at http://www.wirelessgalaxy.com/mobilephones/Models.asp?BrandID=6

EBay always has people selling cell phones on there. You might want to look around there.
