Is he a good doctor? Has he ever done anything inappropriate.
If answers are yes and then no, there is no reason to change. He can't help that he is gay anymore than you can help if you are straight. He is a human being just like the rest of us. He spent years in college and residency to be good at what he does. Respect that.

I've seen male and female docotors. I don't think of any of them sexually, and I'm sure they don't consider me sexually either. Doctors see naked bodies every day, and they look at them pretty much the same way your plumber looks at your water heater. It's a bit of complex plumbing and pipework that needs maintenance.

A doctors office isn't in the least sexually arousing. And even if a female or male doctor did find you attractive, they are certainly not going to step over that line with any inappropriate behavior. I've never asked a doctor if he is gay or straight; and I can't imagine how I'd every know anyway.

Why? A gay doctor is no more interested in you than a straight doctor. That would be like saying all gynecologists or obstetricians are lusting over their female patients and waiting to put a move on them. It is just a job!

No, but I would ask him if he could taech me to do a self exam of my testicles....LOL

How Do I Do A TSE?

Check yourself right after a hot shower. The skin of the scrotum is then relaxed and soft.

Become familiar with the normal size, shape and weight of your testicles.

Using both hands, gently roll each testicle between your fingers.

Identify the epididymis. This is a rope-like structure on the top and back of each testicle. This structure is NOT an abnormal lump.

Be on the alert for a tiny lump under the skin, in front or along the sides of either testicle. A lump may remind you of a piece of uncooked rice or a small cooked pea.

Report any swelling to your health care provider.

If you have any lumps or swelling, it does not necessarily mean you have cancer, but you must be checked by your health care provider. If detected and treated early , testicular cancer is one of the most curable cancers

He might turn out to be more caring and better at his job than a straight doctor. No, I wouldn't change and neither should you.

No because he sees the male body all the time and thats his job, but you should if you feel uncomfortable. But remeber he is only doing his job.

No. I would drop a BAD doctor, however.

No, not at all. All I would ask is that he buy me flowers or take me to dinner prior to the appointment from now on....
