They did need Mario Williams and they didnt need Vince Young since they had Carr so Reggie Bush would be the best pick in their situation. But im not complaining(im a Saints fan). But it wasnt a total lost. They could of drafted anybody because every position on that team needs talent. The Texans are 5 years old though, So dont think their gonna be like the Colts or Chargers. If I was the Texans I would worry about that O-Line they have. The Texans are even stupider for releasing Carr and starting Schaub. If the Texans got lucky Joe Thomas could still be in the Draft around the 10th pick and they could of got him and they could of had sucess if they didnt release Carr. Ya you're right if they traded Carr to the Chargers for Brees well... we wouldnt be making fun of the Texans right now. the Chargers released Brees so you know they would trade him to start Carr instead of Rivers. Then the Chargers would be even more powerful and the Texans would have Brees to give them some sucess. Look at what Brees did for the Saints Passing Game. The Texans are a bad decision making team.

Reggie Bush has not signed a professional football contract yet. So it's yet to be seen if Vince Young or Mario Williams get more money or not.

LOL! I've read some of the answers. Quarterbacks are more valuab le than R.Backs.

Bush is not a loser, and to me I THINK its all politics. I hate to say it. What they are dong to Bush is what they did to Mike Williams. The real estate in USC is amazing; they lost the championship, a lot of disappointment; HOWEVER, look around, see their legacy, TEXAS, well its TEXAS, no offense Longhorn fans.

Bush will have to pay his dues and grow; I LOVE THE BOY! Fight on! But whatever you say, EVERYTHING has some form of politics to it. Honestly, if SC would have won that 3 in a row, do you really think people would be happy; they would have found all kinds of ways to strip the championship.

If you pay attention closely, REGGIE came out into the draft and right when he entered into the draft; a scandolous storyy of taking bribe money and blah blah, was aired; dropping his real estate. In the end, everything always has to deal with

POLITICS.

no the Texans let a good deal pass them by I am not thrilled at their decision. Reggie Bush is not a loser he was the Hesiman Trophy but of Vince Young and the Long Horns beat USC in the Championship game for number one in BlS standings.

1. Reggie Bush has NOT signed a contract yet.

2 The main component, argueably on a football team is the QUARTERBACK...thus, he is probably most valuable and receives the most $$$$

3. the career expectancy of a rb in the NFL IS.. 3.7 years...less, than a qb

4. nfl contracts are NON GUAREENTED, EXCEPT FOR SIGNING BONUSES AND PREFORMANCE CLAUSES...while Bush doesnt have a contract, he does already have rumored at least 7 million in endorsements.

5. seems to me , right now, Bush is the winner, cause he's collecting cash and being payed to play a game....and we are all sitting here on our computers, talking about it? agreed

Young didn't get more than Williams. He got close to the same, but Williams got more.

Bush hasn't signed yet because he still has it in his head that he should have been the number 1 pick (he shouldn't have) and so he wants more money than Williams (dream on). Since Young got close to what Williams got, expect a long holdout or a trade.

Bush is a loser but that had no effect on Young's contract.

Reggie bush signed an Incentive contract, he is guarenteed around 26 million but if he reaches certain goals, like startign all 16 games or hitting teh 1500 yard mark. If he were to hit all of his incentives then he would be paid more then Mario WIlliams.

I don't think Bush has signed a contract yet? However, He will need to prove he can carry the ball in the NFL 25 - 30 times a game. I think eventually he will have a Marshall Faulke type career

it could be because the titans have the money for it. it also could be young has a better agent. whatever the case the fact still remains that he is a QB and has the abbility to either make or break their franchise in the future. i dont know about reggie being a loser but i am slowely but surely begining to hate him. he is being cocky and didnt even go to training camp yet. its like TO all over again.
