This "Thumbs" file is a system file of when you view photos and videos (or other files) as "thumbnails", or small previews of the files. It is harmless and you can delete it if you want.
Hope this helps,
Trace

You can safely ignore these files. The thumbs.db are the images that get show of the files in the directory in windows. Deleting them will not revent them from coming back.

a fix for this is going into folder options in xp and
checking the box next to "do not cache thumbnails".
you can find it in the view tab.
then just delete all the thumbs.db
that you can find doing a search
