depends on the tree, I suppose....being an old growth redwood might be cool if I were in a protected forest...on the otherhand being a tree on a tree farm might suck...especially if they turned me into toilet paper.

If I were a tree, I'd be happy as a tree. As a human I'm struggling to be happy.

I cannot argue that humans abuse nature in general and trees in particular. Do not forget the pain and struggles that humans inflict on each other. This makes the point that trees are cut and made into toilet paper mute. We do the same to each other every day. A tree would have a chance to live a peaceful and harmonious life until that day came, if it ever did.

When you are opened to the possibility, you will realize that tress do communicate, feel, know... do many things that we as humans believe are exclusively ours. They do not move, true, but they are provided with all they need to grow and thrive if they are planted in a good place. They do not suffer as we do by wind and rain, etc and always have birds singing and wildlife visiting.

Finally, I do not believe the Bible is being interpreted correctly when it is said that all Earth and all on it but the faithful will be burned up on the last day. This is simply a lie fostered by those who have much to gain by this lie. Think about it... is it REALLY likely that God would have us ruin destroy the Earth that he created in infinite love? He expected us to love and care for her as we care for Him.

Does it make sense to you that we pollute our very home? The very home that God gave us in his infinite wisdom and LOVE

Remember that movie with Jodie Foster where she would say, "Tree in the breeze (or wind)" over and over? She seemed pretty happy being both. Trees, to me, seem to be very giving: shade, fruit, materials ... if I was in line as a "thing" about to be created and I had the choice, I might go with tree ... but I've been a human being so long, I kind of like my position.

I LOVE trees!!!!! I have so many pictures of trees. But to answer your question. So many times when I see so many beautiful trees with such special and grand characteristics and I'm feeling low, I wished I was a tree for a day or two so i can just be as peaceful and calm like they look. Other than my admiration of trees, I really enjoy being a human. just like God planned.

No. I would not like to be a tree because some people urinate on trees not to mention animals. And you have to live in that same spot until you die even if you don't like you neighbors. No, I'll just stay human for now.

According to the Hebrew language, the word "ete" can be described as a bundle of earth into which tangible seed can be placed to produce after its own kind. Humans and trees are among the few categories of "etes." They are metaphysically related; that is why so many healing properties are embedded in plants. That is why God decreed in Isaiah 11:1 that He would send a special "Branch."
Isaiah 11:1 - "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots": His name is spelled out in the Hebrew letters. That Branch would be bruised, cut and grafted. That Branch would go into Egypt as a little shoot and ...300 plus prophecies were confirmed through that Branch.
I am already a grafted plant. Thank heaven I am have been transplanted from one that used to sow indiscriminate seeds of lust, fornication, adultery and more to a transplanted and pruned plant of righteousness-- all because I have been grafted to "that branch."

Absolutely no. We are given the highest privilege to be human being. God deserves the praise and honor for he created us. Although trees are important and of many uses, life itself is a joy. We have the greatest gift that we have..... life...... a human being. Learning to live our lives to please and praise God who created us, what can we ask more. Everything God has given us, so, is it not wonderful that we are made human beings who is privileged to use all gifts that were given to us. So shout I am a human being, a happy human being.

I wouldnt want to be a tree, because I get cut down and used enough as human, and I can usually get back up afterwards, Trees get permanetly cut down, and when they finally get to start growing again some bozo drops a cigarette, and burns it down.
