Yes. I have taken a $3/hr decrease to do a job I enjoy. I now make more and love working here.

Being a brit (on a uk forum) that equates to a tenner a week.
Would I pay someone £10 to make my job better?

know wages are all relative but conditions of work and the pleasure that you gain will work across the board.
I know people with (what I consider to be sh1t jobs but they love doing it.
How much would I drop to get a job I love ? Not a lot actually as I actually like going into work. but thats not to say it cannot be improved.

Sure! It's better to get up every morning (or night) and look forward to going to work other than dreading it. Plus, you'd probably put more effort into a job you enjoy opposed to one you dislike. Dooo it!

hell yeah. if you work 40 hrs thats only like 17 or 18 bucks with taxes taken out. i would do it in a heartbeat

yes!! $0.50 is nothing. Having a job you actually like is hard to find. No matter how much you make, if your job sucks, you're miserable and non prodcutive.. and usually cranky
