kidsinmind.com it gives a complete description of each scene of sex and violence and lists all the cuss words that are in it. they rate it in each catagory on how bad each section is, it is so thorough that the little mermaid got a 1 in sex because it shows her in a seashell bikini top! haha

look up the MPAA - the motion picture association of america - they are the ones who actually created and enforce movie ratings, i'm sure their website will explain it
fun fact - you can say the F word in a movie 1 time and it is still pg-13, say it twice and its automatically R

if you know the name of your movie go to imdb.com type it in and it will bring all the info of your movie up scroll down and then you will see the rating and after it poof you got what it has in it to get that rating
