a pact to never answer a question about homosexuality to a straight person, c'mon why would they need to know, accept to make lude comments. If they were already enlightened, they would not ask.

I disagree in a way. The only reason why I answer some of them is I feel that if we can get through to one person then we've accomplished something. No, I don't want to turn every one gay. My goal is to simply get folks to see that WE ARE HUMAN!!! That we are capable of love, stability, and everything else that the hetero world is capable of. I don't care if they agree with me or not. It doesn't matter. Respect is the key!!!

A pact seems an interesting point to make...but, how will the 'others' be educated if there aren't anybody to speak with?

I will not, because there is no other way for them to become enlightened. Those that are curious enough to ask someone they know to be gay about gay issues should be encouraged to have a realistic view of gay people. Otherwise, they may believe that we are all like Jack from Will and Grace.

I'd tell you where to shove you pact, but it would probably only spoil your boyfriend's enjoyment.
Why would they need to know? Start with the parents or siblings of gay kids and take it from there.

there actually are some legitimate questions from straight people who actually wish to understand.... I won't ignore all questions. I like to try to enlighten people if I can.
the homophobes are just mentally disturbed...they can't help that they were raised in ignorance (although, they CAN help spewing their ignorance in these forums...they chose not to) hopefully, they will get some help.
