Yes it can make the menstrual cycle irregular if the yeast infection is bad enough. Is she treating the yeast infection? If over the counter remedies don't help tell her see a nurse practitioner or doctor.

Yeast infection is when fungus growth in/on the vagina has flourished more than usual due to a reduction in bacteria in/on the vagina. This could be due to oral contraceptive pills, menstrual cycle changes, antibiotics etc. However a yeast infection cannot change your cycle. It is probably stress or some other reason that is causing a delay in bleeding which has set off the infection.

NO this definitely cannot mess up your cycle! Infections generally don't interfere with bodily functions such as menstruation! You can have a yeast infection, cervixitis, Vaginos, but none of these infections prevent period.

Birth control pills will not work if she has been on an antibiotic for the yeast infection.
She may be pregnant.

Yes. There is a lot of that gooey discharge in the way. And if she has been on antibiotics for the infection then that almost always delays a period.

No. Its because shes pregnant and has been screwing too many guys. The yeast is really just old dried up sperm.
