I ask myself that same question all the time. Even if there were a plan of what to do about the issues in the middle east right now, which there isnt. The potential benefits do not outweigh the danger shes putting herself into. Im starting to think she's just doing it because she hates me. Even so, when a plan comes together they could still discuss it from Helsinki or Geneva. It is a mystery.

She is not a secretary who types memos and schedules appointments. She is the most important person in the State Department, which is responsible for diplomatic relations with every other country in the world. She is third in line for succession to the Presidency. If President were to die in office, she would become the Vice-President. Vice-President Cheney would become President. There would have to be a new Secretary of State nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. If President Cheney were to die in office, Vice-President Rice would become President. She is doing her job, but understand, the Republican Party wants her more visible in order for her to be a possible Presidential or Vice-Presidential candidate in 2008. She would be the Republicans answer to Bill Clinton's wife.
