You may just need them to drive. But, this may be the beginning of needing them just for distance or whatever. Get an eye exam, this'll give you a better idea of where your eyes are. Better to have glasses then keep straining your eyes and making it worse. Trust me- I've been there. And for safety reasons, you'd feel horrible if you caused an accident due to not getting your eyes checked. :D (well, no kidding...just stating the obvious I guess!)

If your work involves close up work, such as a lot of reading, your eye-sight may have adjusted to the requirements of your work and you may need time for your eyes to readjust again.
Age is a factor, the older you get you will likely find that your eye-sight will adjust with time.
The blur lines suggest to me that you are long sighted. This can happen as you get older.
It's not clear what's causing the ill feeling and pains in the head. It could be because your immune system is down. If so, I suggest you talk to a doctor. If the traveling is causing the ill feeling, it could be because of static build up. If this is the case, to solve the problem, get a small light chain (metal) or strap, and fix it under the car so that the bottom of the chain touches the ground as you drive along. This will discharge the static. Car shops also sell static straps.
If you already wear glasses, and you are getting pains in your forehead, it's likely your eye-sight has adjusted and the lens of your glasses need to be changed.

k... depending on yr age could just be fatigue.. go n have your eyes checked.
You are at risk if...
your family members wear glasses
you cant see as well as before
Others around can see better
you have trouble reading fine print
you have trouble seeing far objects as clearly as others
objects start appearing blurred
you have unexplainable headaches esp. at the back of your head
get your eyes checked if you have any of the above

This sounds like it could be a neurological problem instead of visual. The cheapest route would be to get your eyes checked first. If that doesn't help the problem go to your Dr, who will more than likely send you to a neurologist for more extensive tests.
Good luck.

Go get your eyes checked by an optometrist. If they find any diseases with your eyes, they will send you to an ophthalmologist (M.D.) Otherwise if you need glasses the optometrist can handle that.
