Hey! Can anyone give me a good link or some tips for dancing? I'm absolutley horrible at it, and it would be useful to look decent at times like a school dance or a party or anything like that... usually i just try looking around and attempting to copy others, but the results are horrible.

Well the first you have to do is be able to find the beat. Rhythm is one of the most important things in dance, especially if you are dancing with a partner (remember the girl has to follow whatever pace you set). So practice that by just listen to different kinds of music and trying to clap out the beat. Also, if you are partner dancing, but sure to give her a strong enough lead. Even if you are doing the step wrong she should be able to follow somewhat if you lead well. Make sure your right hand stays firmly on her left sholder blade with light arm contact all the way down the arms. I hope that helps.

Dancing isn't entirely something you learn... It's how your body reacts to music. Put on a song with a nice beat, feel the beat and let your body guide you. Let it flow!
