I think i remember that the 4th dimension is a theory that is not finished.

we all know about the 3 dimensions namely height length and breadth...the fourth dimension is TIME....imagine a box which has 3 dimensions but exists only for a fraction of a second in time.....though the box is 3d u cand feel it because it does not exist in time....all objects move uniformly in time thats the reason why it appears stationary and we dont feel the 4th dimension....time like all other 3 dimensions exists but as we move along with it at a uniform velocity hence we dont need to bother about it,only when we slow time (by movin at speeds equal to light) do changes in dimensions of objects become apparent(objects become longer when time slows,an aeroplane is said to in crease in length by 10-6 cm at the speed in which it travels),read time machine by H.G.Wells
