This may be a strange quesiton, but....for some reason, every time I type the word "believe", it comes out "belive"...I have no idea why, as I've known how to spell it since I was a young kid. But, whenever I take the time to proof something, I find this word 'spelled' incorrectly. Does anyone else have a problem typing out "belive", or any other words for that matter?

Good answers. Let's keep this one going!
But, I have to "belive" that someone out there mis-types this believe....no?
(Maybe, I use this word too much.)

I have the same problem with the word believe. But you should see what the letter t and letter y do to my words. I'm always pressing the wrong key. Yes becomes tes, That becomes yhat, yesterday becomes tesyerdat, ect. I have often wondered if changing the letters around on my key board would help.

... the the ...
Statisticaly the second most common typo (after placing two spaces between words), and I catch myself doing both all the time. MS word has been trained the automatically delete one of the "the"s, if done while typing. The only way to avert this is to put a comma between them while typing it, then edit out the comma later, or turn of auto grammer checker (for anyone who wanted to intentionally make a typo).

You won't 'belive' this but every time I type the phrase 'Dear sirs' it comes out "mnlkunyytht556gvbg766t7***luhny!!jm98tuw45ugm"

Do you think I should give up my job as a shorthand typist?

I seem to almost always forget to put the "r" on the end of "your". So, I end up looking like a dip when I write "You welcome!" or "What's you name?" D'oh!

I also often accidentally type my own first name wrong, putting the ";" where the l's should be in my name - Miche;;e. What kind of loser am I to spell my own NAME wrong?!?

if your word processor keeps making the same mistake, it's because your spell-check is set incorrectly.

to instead of too.
an instead of and.
