O.K. so obviously childbirth lasts alot longer but Im not talkin about it in that sense, think of it as the 5 seconds that are the most painfull of each. And for those women out there who just dont understand the painfullness of a hit in the nads, dont judge too quickly, it is honestly the most painful experience of my life to date and and I've broken some bones that didn't even compare to the pain, it was a pain that lasted for days, infact it still comes back even to this very day, I think the guy that hit me did some perminant damage and he didn't even hit me that hard.

Getting hit in the testicles. Many women talk of the beauty of childbirth and plan on and do give birth numerous times. Have you ever met a guy who talked of the beauty of getting racked in the nads and plans on doing it numerous times?

I'm afraid the answer to that question just might depend on the gender of the person answering it. You're absolutely right, a testicle whacking hurts - it hurts bad. However, until you give birth it's not likely you're able to compare the two.

Until recently, there has been no objective way to measure pain intensity although numerous PHD's had scales that could be used. Now there is actuall a blood test that can be done that measures the neurotransmitter levels in the blood. I don't think they've compared gender related pains though (yet).

Seriously no one can answer that since no one could have testes and a uterus. Personally I think child birth must be more painful but like you pointed out, I don't know what it feels like to be kicked in the nads.... Oh wait, yes I do, you see the ovaries are the same exact thing as testicles (testosterone affects the developing fetus causing the difference in function) and since the ovaries are right there next to the uterus a baby kicks them 20-30 times in any given day during pregnancy. They form a pustule and pop every 28 days (which hurts like a b!itch) and then there's the doctors visits where they poke and prod on the pushing them as far from one direction to another to see if it hurts (it does it hurts like hell) Best wishes

Being a male, I'm obviously biased. A hit to the testicles of course ! Even a near miss is painful,..... excruciatingly, intensely painful. At least a woman's body is somewhat made for childbirth.Don't get me wrong ,.. women have to endure labor, that's no walk in the park. I'm just saying as far as intensity goes , a shot to the nuts goes right to the top of the list of pain.

The bigger problem with this question is not whether a woman can understand a man's pain or not (or vice versa).

The problem is that everyone has a different amount of pain that they can endure. So you are talking apples and oranges (both fruit) but of all different sizes as well.

And about this possible permanent damage.....see a doctor just incase. And sometimes the pain from childbirth lasts a good long time too.

No one would be able to answer this. Unless you were an male who had given birth to a child, you'd be the richest person though! As its one of lifes course. So this question remains unanswered. An male wouldn't know of the pain a female suffers; and a female wouldn't know of the pain a male suffers physically. This is one of lifes challenges still till today!

Pain is arbitrary and so only an individual can rate pain to their own experiences. So, if a man can never have childbirth and a woman can never get hit in the testicles, then they are impossible to compare. It is like apples and oranges.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a guy who hasn't had an experience similar to your husband's at one time or another. As uncomfortable as it is, we usually recover just fine. So, I suspect your husband will be OK too. Just give him a bit of time. Of course, if you're really concerned, the only way to really tell is to consult with a physician, preferably a urologist. I'd trust his/her opinion before any answer you'll get on a forum like this.

I think getting hit in the testicles is worse, because it is so senseless. Unless you are being attacked, nothing good really comes out of kicking someone in the ball sac.

Well, you are the only one who can correctly answer your question. If you were hit in the testicles and you feel pain, then you must also experience childbirth to compare the degree of pain that it can bring to yourself.
