i went to the guns and roses consert in bermingham a few days ago and it was great!
but a strange thing happened half way throgh 1 of their well know songs... Axl shouted 'STOP' and got evry1 to stop cheering and the band to stop playing. this was because 2 of the bodygards were kicking the crap out of 1 of the fans that jumped the barryer! axl said ' ur not ment to be doing that, get out ur fired' and he made the 2 bodygards leave! lol
i was just wondering if any1 else has experenced such a out of the odenry occurense at a gig they have been too?

Back in the 80's I went to see someone (I think It might have been Dio) and Twisted Sister opened for them. Man Dee Snyder is HUGE! And he wears the wig and lipstick and all that. So he starts singing and someone beans him off the side of the head with a drinks can, instantly he drops the mic, LEAPS through the air and starts kicking the stuffing out off the idiot who threw it. Oh, how we laughed.
Also went to see Babyshambles a few weeks ago, and that was out of the ordinary to say the least. Pete Docherty was blitzed, and kept stopping to fiddle with his laptop and mobile phone in the middle of songs. He also arrived like 2 hours late, and ended up breaking the curfew by playing after the venue was supposed to close and getting fined by the management - he said "You lot have just cost me 2 grand." Heh. Good gig though.

I saw guns n roses a month ago today and remember when axl was arrested for biting a security guard on the leg and trashing a hotel, he got jailed in a swedish prison. well that arrset was like 2 days before I saw them play at this music festival in denmark. Bullet for my valentine supporting them then they came on later.
They were 1 and a half hours late on stage!!! Axl had just been released on bail so he could play the concert. They eventually came onstage in an AMAZING intro. Axl jumps on stage starts jumping around and welcome to the jungle starts with two massive fireworks. When they're singing live and let die the audience at the front start shouting something but I wasn't close enough to hear what they were saying. but Axl responds back to it and says Say that loud enough so Sweden can hear you! sounds like something they should'nt have said !! it was an amazing concert though even though in the festival newspaper the next morning it got bad reviews somehow.

I went to a G-N-R concert in B'ham in 1991 at the racetrack. I love G-N-R, but the concert was awful. Axl was drunk and kept stopping the songs. People were throwing stuff on stage. He got mad and walked off the stage several times. His voice was way off too. The only way I would go see them now is if the original group was back together. (I mean, who is this "buckethead" guy???)

I remember seeing GnR back in 93. I was just a stripling.
Axl Rose is a bit funny about that kind of stuff ever since two kids died at a gig of theirs at Donington in the late eighties. If you listen to the "Live Era" CD you'll hear him telling the crowd all to step back two paces or they won't play any more.

when i was at zebrahead i saw a really fat guy get on stage and started to belly dance it was horrible
