ganoon..well,imagine lots of broken glasses combined together that each time you move it into the light another form is created radiating beautiful colors each and everytime..just like life,sometimes one sees it in black and sometimes in white depending on motion but generally it has lots of colors adding more meaning to its combinations.
Life is a constant change tagging along all kinds of colors just like a kaleidoscope so in a way they are closely related.

It is a toy that either has divided glass or pieces of transparent glass at one end of it and you turn it slowly while looking through the other end, when its pointed at a light. It is just a cool way to look at things. The one with the divided light kind of looks like, what I think of, a spider or flies eyes would see.
I have also heard of the saying "Looking at the World through a Kaleidoscope" which I perceive as meaning, with different viewpoints.
