1. I Will Get There - Boyz II Men

I've been wanderin' 'round in the dark
Been lost somewhere where no light could shine on my heart
I have known a pain so deep
But I know my faith will free me
And I'll get through this
I'll find my way again
So don't tell me that it's over
'Cause each step just gets me closer
I will get there
I will get there somehow
Cross that river
Nothing's stoppin' me now
I will get through the night
And make it through to the other side
Get there
Get there
I've been in these chains for so long
I'll break free and I'll be there where I belong
Hold my head up high, I'll stand tall
And I swear this time I won't fall
[I will do this
No matter what it takes
'Cause I know no limitations
And I'll reach my destination, I will get there
I will get there
I will get there somehow
Cross that river
Nothing's stoppin' me now
I will get through the night
And make it through to the other side
Get there
Get there
Well, the night is cold and dark
But somewhere the sun is shining
And I'll feel it shine on me
I'll keep on tryin', I'll keep on tryin'

2. Stand - Shawn Stockman

I'll Stand even when life has got me down
And my hopes and dreams nowhere to be found
Still I Stand cause I know I'm too close to give up now
I'll put it all in your hands and just Stand
Stand even when nights seem cold and
Stand when you can't feel your soul and
Stand when your dark past won't seem to go away
You can Stand
God is right by your side and
He will make everything alright
So if you can lift your hands
There's a plan and just Stand
If I cry it's alright
Cause it may be just what I need
Cause everybody hurts sometimes and
Every heart needs relief
Still I know where to go
To the one who understands
So no matter what tomorrow may bring
Still I Stand

theres a song by dave matthews called "pig" that i always listen to when im down and it reminds me to cherish each day we have here. here are the lyrics:

Isn't it strange
How we move our lives for another day
Like skipping a beat
What if a great wave should wash us all away
Just thinking out loud
Don't mean to dwell on this dying thing
But looking at blood
It's alive right now
Deep and sweet within
Pouring through our veins
Intoxicate moving wine to tears
Drinking it deep
Then an evening spent dancing
It's you and me
This love will open our world
From the dark side we can see a glow of something bright
There's much more than we see here
Don't burn the day away
Is this not enough
This blessed sip of life
Is it not enough
Staring down at the ground
Oh then complain and pray more from above
Greedy little pig
Stop just watch your world trickle away
Oh it's your problem now
It'll all be dead and gone in a few short years
Just love will open our eyes
Just love will put the hope in our minds
Much more than we could ever know
Don't burn the day away
Come sister my brother
Shake up your bones shake up your feet
I'm saying open up
And let the rain come pouring in
Wash out this tired notion
That the best is yet to come
But while you're dancing on the ground
Don't think of when you're gone
Love love what more is there
We need the light of love in here
Don't beat your head
Dry your eyes
Let the love in there
There are bad times
But that's ok
Just look for love in it
Don't burn the day away
Look
Here are we
On this starry night staring into space
And I must say
I feel as small as dust
Lying down here
What point could there be troubling
Head down wondering what will become of me
Why concern we cannot see
But no reason to abandon it
Time is short but that's all right
Maybe I'll go in the middle of the night
Take your hands from your eyes, my love
Everything must end some time
Don't burn the day away
Come sister my brother
Shake up your bones shake up your feet
I'm saying open up
And let the rain come flooding in
Wash out this tired notion
That the best is yet to come
But while you're dancing on the ground
Don't think of when you're gone
Love love what more is there
We need the light of love in here
Don't beat your head
Dry your eyes
Let the love in there
There are bad times
But that's ok
Just look for love in it

Even though it is a pretty silly little song Can't But Me Love by The Beatles always cheers me up and gets me "raring to go" whatever the circumstances. I find this with the Beatles generally but this song in particular. So if your feeling down or can't be bothered make up a compilation of all your favorite Beatles songs and I guarantee you will be glad you did!

EDIT: more specifically what you are looking for: Try The Kaiser Chiefs' album Employment. It's full of "get up and go"!

How is The Lazy music motivating? That music is dumb. Throwed Off with suggestions from Treal Lee is inspiring. walk around the cluuuuuuuuub, F*CK ERRBODY! Lawlz. on the authentic, i love someone someplace with suggestions from Asking Alexandria. do not tell Dave with suggestions from Dance Gavin Dance is notably uplifting. And Alex English :3 in case you want that variety of music, anyhow.

Hollywood Undead's Knife called Lust is a good song for motivation, its about how we all have friends but we stand alone.

30 Seconds to mars inspires me.

You should listen to 30 Seconds to mars

Hi Moon. I really can't think of any specific songs at the moment, that either inspire me, or motivate me. As a rule however, almost any type of classical music will inspire me. :) To motivate me, I prefer listening to more upbeat, fast-paced music. :)

amusingly enough the song Moon River can do it for me,, in the same vein,, Dylan did a song called When I Paint My Masterpiece and the Eagles did Take it to the Limit,, and the Grateful Dead bootlegs can usually get me moving

I'm often inspired with religious songs. These songs gives me strength when I'm down and always uplifts me not only physically but also spritually and all aspects of me. example of which is the song entitled LEAD ME LORD, and ANIMA CHRISTI
