I do not know for sure. All of other planets in our solar system seem
to be too hot or cold for life as we know it. We are just beginning to think
there are planets at other stars and we might hope there is life on some of
them. Some scientists have estimated the chances for other life. It is small , but it would be
exciting if we could find it. However, I think we are too far away from other
stars to see any life that might be there

Your question has been pondered throughout the ages. Let's answer this question with a question. Could it be possible considering the size of our known universe that we (Terra Firma) are the only planet among Billions upon Billions upon Billions upon Billions (You get the picture) of Galaxies/Solar Systems/Planets. Be the only living creatures? I think we can answer the question now. Impossible. Please read "A brief history of time" by Stephen Hawkings to truly get a perspective of the vastness we are talking here.

According to exobiologists, there is no proof about any extraterrestrial life form yet. Not yet... :-)

BUT many scientists wonder if there is no microbial contamination of Mars because of the earthian non-sterile probes that landed on its surface.

So if this is real (I think so but I can't find the links about this...), there indeed is life on Mars, but unfortunately, this life form is only microbia from Earth... that travelled with the probes from Earth to Mars.

Embarrassing, huh?

Not in this solar system, but I'm sure there's life in other areas of the universe. We are not unique.
