Really, I think you've almost answered your own question. The 'psychology' is that they believe they are victims/persecuted. When a group of people feel they are threatened (common day militia groups who believe their fundamental rights are violated, for example), they will typically take reactive measures to alleive the feeling of victimization. Sometimes these measures are drastic.

It's quite easy for people (and especially emotionally unstable people) to fall into the "I'm a victim" mentality so it's always important to analyze circumstances with outside input.

Jews are nowhere near the most persecuted history. Black people are. Watch Africa... a new world player of enornmous power is waking up.

Ask the Jews.... Thy're the most persecuted group in history, and based upon their recent actions, persecuted for good reason.
