Quite scary how many people have said they vote for the party. I guess voting for the party is easier than thinking or actually reading something. Come on people, do you really just want to be puppets for one party or the other?

DEFINITELY the candidate!!! It really doesn't matter if they are Republican, Democrat, or Independent...what matters is their beliefs and opinions on certain subjects. If they match how I feel, then they get my vote whatever party they belong to.

Parties can only be voted out of office which means four years of the same crap good or bad. An individual on the other hand can be impeached or censored. Both parties are part of the same monster they just have different heads, one left head and the other right headed and the only hope we have is that once a president is elected he will find a middle ground where he can't screw us to bad.

I try to vote for the candidate. However, if there is a race where I am not familiar with the candidate for some reason, I will vote for the candidate that represents the party I am affiliated with.

the party so far, becasue clinton, gore, and kerry have been good candidates.. becasue to get nominated by your party you have to have an ideaology that fits with most of the members of your party. and leogirl is a liar she votes republican, if you vote for bush you will vote for any right wing hack.

Usually the candidate. yes, I am mostly republican, but there are a few democrats that I share similar beliefs in. If it came down to a Presidential democratic candidate that I shared beliefs with to a Republican one I didn't I would vote democrat.
