Easiest way is to put another picture in its place or remove it from your hard drive if it is located there. Or you can right click on the desktop area, select 'Properties-Desktop' and select 'No picture'.

right click on your desktop and select "properties"; then click on the "desktop" tab and then either select one of the options that Windows supplies, or browse your own pictures and select one of those. Alternatively, click on "none" to have a completely blank desktop...

Go into my pictures delete the picture otherwise go into your desktop and select to change appearance. It might be where your screen saver is.

go to START bottom left,then click control panel, Then apperance and themes. Click on change the desktop background

right click, propoties, Click the desktop tab, choose from one of the pics or browse for your own, this is windows XP btw, and you do this while on the desktop :P

Right click on your desk top in a clear space then select "properties", from there select "desktop" and then "none".

go propeties and click desktop..
there u can change your picture in your desktop...
