Im talking about the cotton ones. I want to use them for school but at our school they give out laptops so i have to carry that around plus maybe 2 binders or and my pencils pens etc. Could a vera bradley tote hold all of this?
and what color would go with more things. i can't decide between the first or second designs.

no the latptop isn't very heavy and it comes with its case and many girls at my school carrt totes.

Yes, Vera Bradley is a very durable bag! I would go with one of the messenger bags though, they have wider straps so they won't wear down as much, plus they hold more. Java Blue is probably the best design to go with. I have a purse that is Java Blue and I get compliments all the time! Plus, its almost a neutral design compared to ones like Hope Toile or Sherbert. You can find all sizes of Vera Bradley.
I feel that they are durable enough for a laptop.
I think that they will last for about a year...like everything else,, it wears out.
I am into pink right now,,so pink is great.
You can go to Ross Dress For Less, or Marshalls, and get bags that look just like Vera's or possibly could be that brand if you are lucky.
I think that you would be better off with a backpack to free up your arms for others things,,but I don't like them either... so good luck w/ your choice.

You have to carry around a laptop at school? You don't want that kind of weight hanging on your shoulders. You would be better off not getting that fashionable bag and invest in a wheeled carrier. You can find these at places like Office Depot or Office Max. Don't get just any wheeled carrier either...get one with a laptop compartment, to protect it. They can be easily damaged and are expensive to repair. I own a laptop. If I had to carry it around everywhere I go I would have a wheeled carrier because the laptop itself weighs 8 pounds. If you must have a fashionable bag...let it be your purse, not your school book bag.

I would say yes but I don't know how long it would last, I'd go for an L.L. Bean book bag/Tote bag....they have some nice ones!
