I would say that it really depends upon your breast size. It's much better for most women to sleep w/o a bra so that your body can be free from restrictions. But in cases where a woman is extremely large-breasted, a bra may help in her comfort so that she's not pinching or twisting herself.

A few years ago there was this study which claimed that sleeping with a bra on was dangerous, specifically they claimed that sleeping with a bra on could cause breast cancer.Today this is believed to be incorrect.
Some people say that sleeping with no bra can cause relaxation to the muscles supporting the breast(especially when the breasts are big).
My personal opinion is that sleep is very important for your health and looks, and you should sleep in a way that is comfortable.Whether that's with a bra on or off is your choice only,go with your feeling.

I think this all depends on the size of your breasts and how comfortable you want to be. I have smaller breasts and have never slept in a bra. I actually hate wearing them, for me they are very uncomfortable and I prefer to go braless. But again, my breasts are small and perky enough that I can still do this. My sister on the other hand has very large breasts and is more comfortable sleeping with a bra on. In the long run it has no effect on your breasts whatsoever. Its just a personal choice.

Actually, it does. It lets them breathe during the night because they're stuffed up into a bra the whole day. Plus, I have a friend who's aunt slept in a bra and got breast cancer supposedly caused by it.

yeah it's usually said that u should not sleep in a bra, cos u should let the skin breathe at night. A bra is very fiting and that does not allow the breasta fresh supply of air

No, sleeping bras are basically designed for old ladies i think.
So unless you are in your 70's or older, you should be fine.
But if you are more comfy sleeping with one go ahead, personally I would not want to.

I don't think you are supposed to sleep in a bra. I remember hearing that when I first started. That was many many moons ago! âº

Nah, when you are sleeping you are relaxed and not moving around, plus you are laying down. I have never worn a bra to sleep, gotta let them have a break sometime, right?
