Marriage is important. For one it signifies that your partner and yourself are committed to the relationship, that you just won't and really can't walk out of the relationship. Men like to think that it doesn't really matter, but the fact is, when they get bored or something doesn't go right, what is making them stay, they don't have a real commitment. You are not there wife. Besides if you plan on having children, then it teaches them a bad example. People will say that it doesn't but really look, it does. Good luck.
