We don't need Gay Games anymore than we need Black Games.
Gay people can do just as good at olympic sports as anyone else just ask Greg Luganis. We need children's games, men's games, women's games and paralympic games because those different segments perform differently on the field.
The Gay games are just a feel good load of crap.

I would rather see homosexuals playing sports than demonstrating their sinful natures on the streets, in stores, in public--in general. However, I believe it's just another example of how we, the people, have absolutely no say in how our tax dollars are spent.
If the "Gay Olympics" are functioning under the guise of a not-for-profit organization, then voluntary donations would be their source of income. But if our tax dollars are being funneled into a gay organization---the same tax dollars that could be spent on educational programs----then I would hope my Congressman, State Representative, and my Senator have email with an extremely large capacity!!! They will be hearing from a lot of folks who feel the way I do.

Gay people are just as entitled to have their games (whether it is a baseball league or bigger events), just as other groups have their events. Ever notice Christian softball leagues? People like to associate with their own type for whatever the event is, so whether it's bigger events or smaller get-togethers, what's the difference? Live and let live.

You all need to host a therapy session and a week of fasting and prayer to invite God to make drastic changes in your lives!

Why not? If it draws a crowd and people enter it as competitors...is is really any different than any other specialized event? It's not like anyone is force you to go...out?

It is an awareness-raising activity for them. Also, it is a great social and competitive opportunity too!
