Since you have been to the doctor I assume that this is a reoccurring problem. If so, you may have food allergies! There are alot of people that will develop gas and intestinal upset after eating certain foods. You may be able to feel better like avoiding certain foods like milk or wheat products. Experiment by not eating ANY milk products (read labels carefully) for a week and seeing if symptoms go away and then reappear when you eat something like yogurt, cheese or milk. If this isn't the problem then repeat testing with wheat. Also - you may have multiple food allergies making this trickier. Taking allergy medicine can also help. If you decide that this is allergy related after doing some experimenting then you may get more lasting relief seeking the help of a doctor that specializes in treating people with allergies. Sometimes other doctors miss the boat. Also for gas relief - make sure you are taking something with simethicone. And when bloated, sometimes lying with your head down and feet up helps relieve the pressure: so lie across your bed on your stomach and then slide your head off the bed onto the floor, so your bum is up and your head is on the floor and stay this way for awhile.

Lay off the food you are eating, obviously you have been to the doctor,so its not suspected bowel cancer,or any form of cancer?--did the doctor do a check on that one??--Hard to beleive that you are asking us on answers when you have already seen the doctor and the doc only asks if your constipated?--usualy swelling of the abdomin is a serious symptom of a possible cancer and is followed up by a barium enema and x rays etc??.

try ginger tea
hot lime tea
green tea

Lots and lots of tea and water. All day long.
Palpitate abdomen to move gas up or down, then out (as POLITELY as possible).

Will take a while but you'll eat less, and liquids will fill up tummy space.
