This is rather odd.....serious answers only please!

Do you all think this is just a reaction to the news because I think it is but also some sort of bodily reaction to the pregnancy!?
Do you get extra adrenaline or something?! It feels so strong like I have taken anphetimines! although-I obviuosly haven't!!
It feels stronger than normal "excitment!"

congrats, it's just excitement, nervousness, etc. I've been doing the same thing. Shock hits me and I get all lightheaded and giddy.

have you had a pregnancy cry yet? I had my first one last night. Though I wasn't unhappy, I was scared and worried and burst into tears. I'm not a woman who cries often and certainly nothing like last night....wailing sobs, huge salty tears, I mean the saltiest tears I've ever tasted. I just boohooed and couldn't stop. It didn't even sound like me. I'd laugh a little about it, because I knew what it was (hormones) and that would make me sob even harder. Woke up feeling better though.

Your hormones are racing right now. Even if it isn't adrenaline, all those pregnancy hormones could be adding that extra kick. It is great you are so excited. I hope you feel wonderful the whole time!

No, this is not unusual at all! It is the anticipation of being able to give birth to a baby, being able to count the fingers and toes, hold them closely so you can indulge yourself in that sweet baby smell. The excitement of naming him/her, buying baby clothes, setting up the nursery and watching him/her learn to walk and talk.

That's a pretty powerful drug all by itself! Congratulations! I hope your baby is as happy as you and a healthy ball of joy. :)

They are called angxity(sp) attacts. If you've never had one they can be frighting. You will learn to breath throught them. If they get worse tell you OB that you are getting them. They normally are damaging they are just anoying and slightly firightning if you don't know how to handel them. Just take a few deep breaths and they will settle. If they don'e be sure you tell your OB.

I take it you are extremely happy......I got that way on and off while I was in my first and second trimester.

I think it is partially physical(hormones are now raging in your body), but also you are mentally stimulating your body.(by being excited and happy)

It's all in your head and will go away after your belly gets huge, you get stretchmarks, you can't see your feet, you puke sun up to sun down, and your boyfriend leaves you.
