We have just reformed and our last band name was well known.
Now we have a new band we are looking for a new name.
I know I'm gonna get some doofus answers on here but the serious ones I will look out for.
We are a rock/blues band if it helps!

The best thing you can do is take any serious answers from here, then check them against http://www.bandname.com. This is a worldwide register of all people who've registered a band name, basically so others can't nick it. That way, if your name is new, you can register it and keep it safe.
Blues-Rock has a lot of people doing it, and is a genre ripe for cliche'd names. I'd look at who your influences are and maybe find a good line in one of their songs which you can pick out a name from. It'll be a good back referrence and also give people a hook into who you are. Literature is also a good source of band names (Marillion, from JR Tolkien's Silmarillion, Uriah Heap from Dickens).
Keep your eyes peeled and your mind open and something will come to you.

well, i used 2 be in a band and it was very difficult 2 think of a name!! so i no how u feel. i like The Blocks lol, or the blockheads?

Come on!!! if ur musicians ur meant to be creative!!!! we got our band neame waste of educasion from a spelling error from our former bassist...so just take a random grouping of words that make sense, and make a couple of spelling errors...Good luck
