I would imagine this means a full listing of all assets and investments, savings and debts taken against your expenitures, this will be used to carve up the finances between the patries and assess the amount of child maintainence that is reasonable if children are present in the equation

Like the term implies, full financial disclosure means just that...a full, and accurate accounting of all of your holdings and assets for the purpose of determining an equitable division of marital assets at the time the marriage is dissolved. I recommend getting an attorney to help you through this process because there is an unfortunate tendency to try to stash certain assets in the heat of a contested divorce ( because even in the nicest of divorces it's still an adversarial process). An attorney will help steer you away from this tendency because it will be discovered, and there are legal penalties associated with intentional deception. I'm sorry you're in this predicament, but there is life on the other side of divorce. Good luck.

Here comes the fun part. The court is trying to determine how much spousal support should be ordered and if there are children, how much child support will be ordered. The bottom line is the court wants to see bank statements from both, pay checks, tax returns, bonds, anywhere where there is money. It is to determine the amount ordered after the divorce,.

You will have to disclose all of your assets, where ever they may be. If you try to hide money or personal property and the other side finds out - which they almost always do - then the Judge can take it away from you even after the decree is entered.
