myspace is always down didin't you know that............it's not the end of the world

If it's a work computer or something, you may be firewalled. More and more companies (especially those who service teens) block myspace.com bc of it's inappropriateness.
I am a high school teacher and have an account and it drives me crazy when I cannot read a message or whatever because or technology center has it blocked.

I believe they are doing something to fix it. I can't get on mine either, and my sister can't get on hers (she is in a different town than me, but I called her) so nobody can get in. Maybe they are doing "maintenance" or something like that, because I know when they do that to Bulletins and Groups, we can't access those either. Hopefully, we will be able to get on again in an hour or so.
