You mean creating a new state of Israel using land in the United States? Or just relaxing immigration standards so that more Israelis can move here?

Well, the only answer to the first question is that people are selfish and don't like to give up land. We have the most living space out of any core country in the world, so it's not like it's a matter of not having enough room. I mean, look at the Midwest. It's mainly open plains with absolutely nobody living on it.

That would be pretty radical though. Even if the majority supported it, I'm pretty sure Israelis wouldn't want to move and call it home.

As for relaxing immigration standards, that would be a good idea in general. I don't think this affects Israelis as much as it does others, but sure we should allow more people into the U.S. The immigration "problem" that is going on now is just like what happened in the early 1900s...people were hostile toward all types of immigrants because they thought they were taking jobs and such...really, it ended up not being a problem. The only real problem was the lame nationalism Americans felt (which was really just selfishness).

why does no one else find that idea completely absurd? there is a reason that israel is where it is. it is the most holy land for the jewish people. they have a history there of many thousands of years. as a jew and possible israeli citizen in the future i would not even want american land, no offence to americans. i have been to israel studied the history and built a connection to as has almost every other jew in the world. as for the immigration issue you dont have to worry despite the wars, terrorist attacks and everything people are still going in drove to make aliyah (move to israel). i have a close friend who is moving there in the fall. we do not want to be anywhere else, we want the land that we have and deserve.

According to the Bible ( and the United Nations ) the people of Israel are already in their own country and on their own land. But I would agree that we could and should give me them land, in exchange for sending all the Islamists/Arabs/Muslims back to the middle east. Heck, lets move out the Arabs and let the Israelis have their places instead. Everyone would be happy, right?

Many many Israelis have immigrated to the U.S. and we don't have to give them land. They are able to earn a living just like the rest of us. Too bad the Arab world isn't as welcoming to Palestinians....

That's a good idea! Americans love the Isrealis and i'm sure they have plenty of room. Why did no one think of this before? Fantastic question. You and i think the same.

my heart goes out to them especially the chrildren, but i feel we haven't even done enough for our people...i.e. the poor, homeless, vets, the chrildren and the elderly. the u.s. is getting overcrowded and in debt and i think we need to help ourselves before we can help others. all i can do is pray for them.
