Definitely a, and just a little advise douching after sex is not good because if you do you have more chances of getting bacteria, you think you are cleaning yourself but you are keeping the antibodies in your body from doing what they are suppossed to do, clean the bacteria themselves. The smell you have is probably from what you have been doing. Sperm itself has an odor and while in the vagina it gets stronger but your body should take care of that itself, what you should do is just wipe the ourside with a baby wipe and wear a pantiliner for whatever drips but you should stop douching. And when TTC that is not a good thing to do.

Douching is bad for you. It screws up your bacterial and fungal colony balance, messes with your PH, and doesn't do anything but make you feel like you've cleaned things. You're body can take care of the mess itself.

If you are putting anything in your vagina after intercourse you are likely to push semen further into your body, which could increase your chances of conception, but I wouldn't count on it. If you are trying to stay unpregnant, use a contraceptive. If you don't then eventually you will get pregnant, maybe sooner than you think. If you are trying to get pregnant, you should wait for your temperature, time of month, and viscosity of your discharge to be ideal. See a doctor if you are trying to conceive.

You should see a doctor either way. If you don't want to get pregnant, then you need to get your hands on the morning after pill if you are looking for a quick fix.

Actually, it diminish's it. Douching is not very good for you in the first place. The soulution get's into your cervix and up into your ovaries and it can actually end up making you sterile and it's not good for you. Try a different way of cleansing such as taking a bath after or something. If you are trying to get pregnant, don't douche after sex.

Douche-ing afer sex is a method to clean the vagina, not to prevent pregnancy. You shouldn't douche while pregnant or while trying to get pregnany because you might put bacteria in you vagina that may cause problems with your pregnancy. Using a douche as a contraceptive is like using saran wrap as a contraceptive - pointless.

The answer is a. You must give the sperm an opportunity to find and attach to the egg. Although it may not flush them all out, you are still greatly reducing the number of sperm available to do that. This does not mean that you will not get pregnant from doing this, but it does diminish your chances.

I have heard that third world contrys douche with soda pops because the carbonated water decreases the odds alot. This could just be a myth.

May possibly b. increase the chance of conceiving by helping to push the semen up to the cervix.

None of the above. You should not be douching - need to do some research in its health detriments. Just wash well.
