got high and low tides mixed up and ended up stranded on the end of a breakwater who's landward end was covered in 8 foot of water, the weather changed quickly to a force 6 northerly whipping the sea up sending ever increasing sized waves over the end of the breakwater, added to this a tidal surge put over a meter on the height of the tide meaning I was standing in water on the end of the breakwater, oh and it was dark!
Thank God for the RNLI, superhero's every one of them.

well, nothing really to me, but to a lot of people i know. hmm...i'll just say one right now though. Ok, one day a good friend of mine was learning how to drive a motorbike. So, she's doing great...but then when she get the highway she's stopping at a redlight right? well, she doesn't stop. Instead of doing the brakes she accidentally hit the gas and accerlated. So, she flew in the middle of an intersection and got stuck on the grill of this truck. So, as the truck was trying to stop, it she fell under the truck and got dragged a few feet. When the truck finally stopped. She was stuck under the truck and had to be helped out because part of the truck was stuck in her leg. Anyways...it wasn't that great...and sadly she'll be limping for the rest of her life. No fun...

When I was just ready to go asleep when I was a teenager, I was sleeping on the recliner when a fire ball went right over my head. I saw it even when I had my eyes closed.
Our house was struck by lightening and the chimmy grounded the house, so nothing real bad happened.
I have a couple more that it's a toss up between these, but I guess this will do.

I m scared of misunderstandings....
But if u want me to tel about a scary event that has occured
with my uncle.......
It was really dark in the night and the sound of wind blowing was really heavy. He was on the roads of a hill station standing alone. He wanted a lift. Many cars passed by speedily and he did not get a lift.He was scared because it was late night. Then a car came very very slowly. So my uncle hurridly opened the door without asking for lift and sat inside gasping looking at his watch..
Then...
he looked up to say thanks to the driver. But there was no one in the driver`s seat!!!He got scared and thought to himself"HOW IS THE CAR MOVING.IT IS CERTAINLY SOME GHOST!!!!GOD HELP ME"He couldn`t move out of the car. Then suddenly the car stopped at the petrol pump.So he jumped out of the car to run.But he saw a stranger opening the car to get inside. So he got back to the car to tel the stranger"EXCUSE ME DON`T GET INSIDE THE CAR.I M SURE THERE IS GHOST INSIDE.IT MOVES AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT A DRIVER!!!
And then that stranger who was getting into the car replied"WHAT? ARE YOU CRAZY?THIS IS MY CAR.AND THERE IS NO PETROL IN IT.SO I PUSHED IT FROM A LONG DISTANCE TO GET TO THE PETROL PUMP!!!!!!
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAHAAA
A scary event which occured with me........
Once there was a power cut.So lights were off. Some construction work was going on.But i had no idea that power was there in that building through the generator.A lady with red saree was working with cement and the spade like equipment.Their reflection was seen in the mirror of our house. When me and my sister saw that in the mirror we just got scared, shouted and then ran away.Later on we found what had actually happened.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAHA
HOPE U ENJOYED

It wasn't scary at the time, just now when I look back on it. When I was 7, I had a brain abcess, and was in a coma for 4 weeks. I remember seeing a big machine above me, someone was holding my hand, and there were several men nearby. But I remember seeing it from in a corner at the top of the room. I told my father about it years later, and he went white--I had perfectly described a test they had performed on me, which the doctors had warned them might kill me. He was holding my hand, and the other people were doctors.

On my second ever parachute jump my chute didn't open correctly, it wouldn't inflate. I fell to the earth for 15 seconds before the wind filled it, believe me 15 seconds is a REALLY long time in that situation!
Although I did have my emergency chute I couldn't open it as it would have gotten tangled with my main chute.
It scared me the most for two reasons:
1. I was always told you would die before you hit the ground - FALSE!
2. I have so much left to do in my life.
Everyone enjoy yourselves every day, you never know when your last day will be!
P.s. put me off parachuting FOR EVER!!!

My cousin was almost hijacked. They tried to get her out of her car by saying she had a flat tyre. The stuck their hand in the window and opened the door and tried to drag her out. She screamed and they ended up just stealing her bag.
I chocked on a cup of tea, thought i was dying as i couldnt breath for ages. I have choked before but never this long.

to me? Two guys standing in the middle of the country road I take at 2am, trying to get me to stop my car. then, when i wouldn't, they followed me. i drove like a maniac and made it home without them figuring out where i live. it was so crazy, i was going like 90 mph to get away and i was so afraid they would catch me. but they had this old beater truck and my car is pretty new. I am alive, that's what counts. this is a true story.
and to someone i know? A friend's two-year old son almost died of a virus. if they hadn't taken him to the hospital when they did, he would have died.

When I was much younger (10 or so) my younger brother and I went swimming with our older cousins. They weren't watching us and my brother got his foot stuck in a rock and couldn't get his head above water. If I hadn't been paying attention to what he was doing and started screaming, he would have drowned.
