So you are a racist? You did not mention hating a race yourself? Are people so dense that they do not understand that americans are comprised of all races and religions? Is that what happened?
Do not feel bad. Someone thought that I should not write in spanish today because yahoo answers should be english only. They were affraid I would be deported or reported. To who I am wondering and where would they send me? To my room perhaps to sit in the corner and look at my US passport and perhaps to read about my anscestors who fought in the american revolution? Since when did it become a crime to be to be able to write a sentence in spanish with very proor grammar? They taught me in school and I learned the rest a the state hospital funded by a state I live in the conditgious US. People were telling me to swim back, but I live in the desert and have no body of water to swim in. Also another country is not offering to take an american citizen. None that I know of that is.

Is that your problem. We you dealing with those ignorants also?

If you were a racist just for asking that, then every Jew who ever called anyone an antisemite would be a racist also, and for the same reason. Assuming, of course, that the rules about "Who is a racist" are the same for everybody.

However, remember that the rules for deciding who the racists are, are themselves racist. Blacks only occasionally get called racists for attacking Whites. Whites frequently get called racists for defending themselves, or even for running away. The rules, such as they are, practically call upon White people to come back and take their beating, and they call for other White people to wear ear plugs and blindfolds so that they can't see or hear it.

Nobody called Mary Frances Berry a racist in 1991, when she said: "Civil rights laws were not passed to protect the rights of white men and do not apply to them." I guess if you're the Black head of the US Civil Rights Commission, you can't be a racist no matter what you do or say.

"I don't care about your idiot children." - Willie Brown, Black Mayor of San Francisco to a White parent at a public meeting. Published in The Social Contract, Summer 1998. Don't you sort of get the idea that the favored status and special protections for minorities stop working when Whites become the minority?

I just about died laughing when the Beltway Snipers turned out to be a couple of Blacks (one of them an illegal immigrant) after the Black Washington DC Police Chief Charles Moose had declared that they were looking for "a White man in a white van."

Did anybody ever get around to calling Moose a racist for looking high and low for a non-existent White serial killer while a couple of Black serial killers kept running around, occasionally shooting people, for several more weeks, more or less in plain sight, with a big pile of guns in their car? As far as I know, only White racists have even gone so far as to suggest that Moose might just possibly be incompetent.

racists is a form of hate. You are inquiring as to someone else's hate. I don't see how that makes you the hater.

Don't freak out about it. People get so uptight about being reported. There is a reason why yahoo hasn't booted you off, even though you have been reported as racists. Think about it, if they believed you were racists, you wouldn't be here. I'm sure after several reports from different people, they boot people.

That wasn't racist, you were trying to flip the script and turn it around on the person who askked the question. What part of my US children (with diverse cultural backgrounds) do you hate the most? Trying to make them hot and bothered about the fact that the country has people from all over and your children are proof. You did nothing wrong and they were stupid to report you.

A Racist is someone who feels an overwhelming negitive emotion or anymosity for another person base SOLEY on that persons ethic standing.

So to answer you question, if you hate/mistrust/fear/or are disgusted by another human being based soley on their race and nothing else then yes, you are a racist.

Most accused racists are actually angery/irritated with what they feel is an overly entitled attitude of the other person. "Screw everybody else, I gotta get mine" attitude. Most of the time this attitude is assumed by the the accused racist, and not fully researched or investigated but instead gleaned from slight and conditional observation.

Well, do you take an immediate dislike of a person based on their colour or ethnicity? Do you consider people of a different race to be worth 'less' than people of your race?

If so, then you are a racist. Otherwise, you are not!

Please note also that in these days of overblown political correctness people forget it is possible to be a complete tosser without being racist, and it is possible for a member of an ethnic minority to be accused of being a thieving drug dealer without it being a racist comment.

People overreact now - it's impossible to pass comment on a person without being racist / sexist / homophobic / fattist etc. I think we should all be allowed to occasionally think someone is a fool without it being motivated by creed / colour / religion.

I'll get off my soapbox now!

I dont know who called you a racist and what remark you made.

It is not your blood line that makes you a racist or not. It must be the remark and you did not tell us that so there is no way to give you a correct answer.

I think most of us do not know the meaning of "RACIST". A lot of us do not know the meaning of democracy. We just say we are.

Just because you say something about a particular race does not make you racist.

So please tell us the remark you made and then maybe we can tell you whether it was racist or not.

You certainly do not sound racist to me. Someone above said that you are a racist for simply asking this question....that's a lack of logic. Anyone would have asked this question. I mean, it isn't very nice when someone accuses you of this kind of hatred.

Ignore them. Too many foolish and/or short-tempered people in the world today.

I don't remember your questions or answers, but it is
quite possible to be racist AND have a varied racial origin.

Racism is about what you express, now about who your
parents are. Many people hate their parents and everything
they ever stood for.

If you're 6'5" and somebody says your tall and you point to
your short parents, that doesn't make you any less tall.
