It is stuck on the outside of the window. I tried alcohol and a razor blade, but that just got tiny, tiny pieces off.

Lighter fluid

I bought a bunch of martini glasses and the sales clerk used lighter fluid to take off the price tags that wouldn't come off

If the label is not made of paper, or a substrate known as "Destructible Vinyl" you should be able to wedge the razor blade underneath part of the label and get a tab to pull the rest off.

If it continues to come off in tiny pieces, it could be "Destructible vinyl". This is usually used for labels/ decals that can be stolen and used by others ( City stickers) so the label may be performing as it is supossed to.

Without losing your mind inthe process, continue to use the entire edge of the razor blade to remove as much of the label as possible, next use "Isopropyl" Rubbing alcohol ( look out for Isobutyl it may not be effective on this adhesive) Use the correct alcohol along with "Goo-Gone" which is usually found at a major retail store or hardware store.

Use a hair dryer to warm the edge of the decal and gently scrape with a safety razor. The use a little lighter fluid to remove the sticky, then wash the window as usual.

Heat up the decal w/ a heat gun or blow-dryer... and with some glass cleaner (must have acetone) spray the decal....Take a razor blade to it at an angle so that you dont scratch the glass and continue spraying glass cleaner.

Let the car sit in the sun then spray it down with some citrus cleaner and then scrape with a razor blade.

Single edge razor blade works great, don't understand why it didn't work. Was it brand new?? They do make a holder for the blade to make it easier to scrape, this may help as you need blade as close to parallel as possible. Auto parts store or hardware store should have one.

this sounds odd.. but.. try milk and a razor.
Let the milk soak it for a decent amount of time.
I've done it before and it worked.
Soak a rag in milk and just splop (yes, I said splop.. that's the sound it makes!) it in the spot, and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes.
All the paper will come right off..

Follow that with a product called Goof Off or Goo Gone to get off any remaining glue... you can find it at your local chain supermarket (walmart, target, etc).

Works for me every time.
