Disgraced, is probably a better word. Also sorry, not just for we Americans, but for the world. Unfortunately, we get what we deserve. With major problems around the world, many Americans see the major issues as gay marriage, abortion, flag burning, and the increased cost of driving Hummers and SUV's. It was complicated by 9/11 and Bush convinced us there was a boogie man (renamed to terrorist) on every corner so now we are at "war" against all potential boogie men in the world, and will stay there until Bush tells us the boogie men are all gone.

I've been embarrassed since 2000. It has become a normal state for me. I think the final straw was the fiasco with the mike at that meeting of the heads of state. Lord, I just hope whoever wins next time has, a command of the English language, the sense to talk to other people not down to, doesn't smirk smiles instead, and understands what diplomacy means. Other then these minor faults GWB should go down in history, and down and down until he's somewhere near Attila the Hun and Stalin!!

yes. As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroon!" But then, also not happy with any others either. Seems all politicians have some form of corruption these days.

I am from Canada. GW has done more to improve our economy and strengthen our dollar just by being his dumb 'ol unscripted self. It seems hat every time he opens his mouth, our dollar is worth more.
Aside from that I would have to say that I would be more afraid than embarassed..... beware the draft....

I'm not embarrassed by my President. I'm proud he has the guts to put up with all this BS with integrity and dignity. Frankly I wouldn't be as gracious or forgiving.

I made the best possible choice from those that were offered by either party, and have not regretted it.
