I will go to the doctor in aprox. two weeks and everytime I go there my heart starts beating real fast, and when he looks into my mouth, I move too much and it's difficult for him to examine me.
I think it's called doctorfobia. :)

There are alot of people who are afraid of hospitals, needles, and doctors(never go into the health care field ha!) but as like all fears in time you can overcome it. These are just some easy tips and steps you can take in order to cope with your fear and someday get over it:

*Multiply breathing exercises will calm your nervse, do these before and after your appointments
*Tell yourself there is nothing to be afraid of there is no risk and no pain what so ever over and over again
*Ask your doctor the steps he will take so you will be better perpared for the examinations
*AND NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER RUSH through these prosesses to overcome fears it doesnt happen over night but through time

You need to acclimate yourself to the situation. I would suggest planning a few days where you "pretend to go to the doctor". Call the office and tell them that you are having a lot of anxiety about your visit and you would like to do some practice runs to see if you can relieve some of the anxiety. Go to the office just as if you had an appointment, sit in the waiting room until the bad feelings subside. Try this a few times and hopefully the part of you that is telling you that there is "danger" at the Dr's will become less active and your anxiety will subside. This is one way to treat phobias. By exposing yourself to what you fear on a regular basis, you learn not to fear it.

The name of your condition is Iatrophobia, and it's typically caused from a negative experience buried deep in the unconscious mind.

Why not tell your doctor about your condition? Doctors deal with this every day, and no doubt have good ways of treating your malady.

How about before the doctor examines, he tells you what it is you're there for, and what he's going to do.
