Who`s going to protect majority? Don't we pay taxes? Don`t we have rights? Or maybe we only have obligations to the society?
Is`nt it the essence of democracy that majority must rule?

There's an old saying: "The squeaky wheel gets the grease"

A few people shouting loudly (or long enough) will be heard before many people who will not open their mouths.

Nobody will protect the Majority. Yes we pay taxes and no we don't have the same rights. Minorities have the right to have black or latin music awards but if we had the white music awards we are racist. Minorities have more rights than the majority. I'm so tired of minorities running our lives. What does the majority of Legal Americans speak??? English right!! Then why do we teach our children to be bilengual??? The Minorities need to learn to speak english and not broken english or ebonics but proper english. What you speak in your own home is your right but when you are out in public and trying to speak english we shouldn't need a translater to understand you. For those of you that don't agree with me don't send me emails saying that I'm a racist and stuff like that. You dont' know anything about me. Plus I don't really care about your opinion.

Minorities need to be protected, because majority rules. If by minority you mean blacks, hispanics, american indians, and everyone that is not blond with blue eyes. Minority organizations are built on the standards that the US is a "white skinned white collar" society", and who will stand for the rest of us.

Because there is a history of minorities including women being oppressed by the majority. That is why there are organizations to protect minorities in the hope that history does not repeat itself.

Minorities are often the majority in numbers; but with disproportionate representation...therefore organizations were formed so that they may be heard...and afforded the same rights as the perceived majority. Bigger isn't always better...and it only takes one voice to be heard above the others...with the support of many.

Who is the minority? If you consider anybody other than the white race a minority here in America, think again. Also, I wasn't aware I didn't pay taxes either...Gosh, that 25% that gets taken from my large amount of earnings must be my imagination according to the ignorance in which you speak.

Cause when your the majority you can do what you want and almost get away with it. Therefore for the little man (minorities) they need help in keeping justice.

Soon the majority will need help since soon we will be the minority but i bet it won't happen because supposedly white people don't need such as equal oppurtunity and affirmative action.
