Some of these moles are small...different shapes...different colors and very annoying. I was told there are several different ones. Anybody know how to stop these from growing or know what causes them? I noticed in the summer time I get more of them and in the winter time the growth stops but they never go away. So far I don't have any on my face and I'm glad of that but my back and legs have alot.

I don't think there's anything you can do from preventing them from developing. If you get more during the summer, it may be because you are spending more time in the sun. If you have lots of them, you are at higher risk of skin cancer, so it would be prudent to stay out of the sun, or use sunblock, and make sure you don't tan. Tanning is effectively damaging your skin. Your skin getting dark is a response to sun damage. That eventually leads to skin cancer, especially for people with lots of moles.

What you can do, is visit a dermatologist. They will most likely have a look at all your moles, perform a biopsy or two (taking out a piece and examining it), and then cut or burn them all out (with anasthetic). Good luck, and take care of your skin.

First get them checked often for cancer. Every year.

As you age, you get more - its genetics.

Laser can removed in minutes and leave no scarring.
