Why would it not be legal. Why do gas companies raise thier rates during the summer time??? Supply and demand. During the 10 pm time period more people are out drinking and so they raise the rate to make more money. Greed.

It should be legal. It's an awesome idea too! Some one was thinking... Damn that was a smart call. I'm going to suggest that to one of the bar owners in town here.

A bar owner can do whatever they want - beer price is not regulated.

Its poor biz though.

There are certain laws that protect against price gouging. But I'm not sure it would apply here.

I think they can charge whatever they want. You just have to choose to buy or not.
